We’ve recently, for example, conducted research to evaluate a local charitable project that gives support to and treats offenders with severe alcohol addiction: the research found that the project is highly effective; reduces reoffending rates and thereby saves regional local health and social services huge amounts, as well as improving the lives of the offenders and all around them.
